Fort Myers Beach Weather Layover
Sandy and I were up just before sunrise. The weather was cloudy and overcast. It was also on the chilly side. We walked over the bridge into Fort Myers Beach searching for a good restaurant to have breakfast. We found one. A small establishment owned by a Greek family. After breakfast we walked out on the public pier. I showed Sandy where Patricia and I had stayed last year when we visited Fort Myers Beach. We also discovered Fort Myers Beach has a wonderful public transportation system. The busses are called Trolley’s. The trolley route runs by the marina an over the bridge to the Beach community. We purchased unlimited passes. Then took a ride on the trolley to Lover’s Key.
